Accessibility Guide

MSA Toronto 2019 is committed to ensuring that all registrants will be able to participate in conference events. We ask that all conference attendees give thought to questions of access and work with the conference organizers to create an event that is welcoming to the entire community of participants. If you would benefit from individual accommodations including, but not limited to, American Sign Language (ASL) translation, paper copies of session presentations, or large type documents, please contact the conference organizers at: info@msatoronto2019.org.

Information For Presenters

We encourage all attendees to make their presentations as accessible as possible. Presenters should: come with hard copies of your talk and your presentation (including some with larger font) for distribution; encourage attendees to request hand outs; include captions or alt-text for any images; eliminate as much technical jargon as possible; and repeat questions from the audience out loud.

More information on making accessible presentations is provided in the MSA-Accessible-Presentation-Guide.

For more in-depth information on how you can make your MSA experience more accessible, please see Ryerson University’s Accessibility Resource Guide.
