Getting to Toronto

Toronto is served by two international airports. Pearson International Airport (YYZ), is the main airport serving US and international destinations. Travel from the airport to the venue is available via taxi ($45-60 CAD), public transit (bus and subway, $3.25 CAD), or a combination of the above; we recommend the new Union-Pearson Express train, which travels from the airport to downtown Toronto in just 25 minutes ($12 CAD).

Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport (YTZ) is Toronto’s city airport located in the downtown core, with the majority of flights operated by Porter Airlines. Porter is a small but comfortable airline, serving a selection of cities in Canada and the US (mostly in the northeast); connecting flights from a wider variety of destinations through Boston are also available in partnership with JetBlue. Porter offers a free shuttle service to Toronto’s Union Station, from which the venue is a short subway ($3.25 CAD) or cab (approx. $10 CAD) ride away; the venue is also accessible from Billy Bishop via taxi (approx. $26 CAD).

Toronto is also accessible via international bus services (Greyhound, Megabus) and Amtrak.

Getting Around Toronto

The Chelsea Hotel is centrally located, meaning that many destinations of interest—restaurants, cultural institutions, shopping—are within walking distance. Destinations further afield are accessible via public transit (streetcars, buses, and subways are $3.25 CAD per ride) or by cab. Car rentals are available at Pearson Airport and other locations downtown, and the venue itself offers guest parking at the rate of $32 CAD/day. Toronto also has a municipal bike rental program, with rental locations throughout the city.
